For photographs of all the housing options please visit My.MUUSA.org.

Guest Room FloorplanGuest Rooms (GST): Located on the first through third floors of Trout Lodge, 57 air-conditioned guest rooms are available, each with two queen beds, a roll-away bed, a bathroom with separate vanity area, table and chairs, walk-out balcony or patio with view of the lake. Pending registration consistent with expectations, the first and second floors will be designated for families with children entering 6th grade and younger.

Loft Room FloorplanLoft Suites (LOF): Located on the fourth and fifth floors of Trout Lodge, 19 airconditioned loft rooms are available. Guests enter the suite on the upper level, where a sofa, roll-away bed, sink & vanity, table & chairs and small refrigerator is available. The stairs in the loft suite lead down to the lower level, where there are two queen beds, a bathroom with separate vanity area, and a walk-out balcony with view of the lake. Pending registration consistent with expectations, the suites will be used for three or more adults choosing to share housing to accommodate more campers or couples/families preferring to pay a premium for privacy and additional space.

Lakeview Cabin FloorplanLakeview Cabins (LAK): Located near the lake, there are 6 air-conditioned cabins available: 2 cabins in each of 3 buildings. Cabins will be reserved as "half-cabins." Each half-cabin (4 per building) has a private bedroom with one full bed, two bunk beds (top and bottom) and a designated private bathroom with a shower. The half-cabins share a common living area with sofa, table and chairs, small refrigerator and stone fireplace. Each cabin has two roll-aways, a crib and a screened wrap-around porch. This space is ideal for families looking to share space with other families, but still preserve some privacy for sleeping and bathing. The planning council has worked diligently with the staff at Trout Lodge to offer campers a variety of housing options at varying price points and amenity levels. Please consider the remarks below regarding anticipated usage of the various housing types when making your selections. Again, we greatly encourage you to help keep the attendance of Summer Assembly high by sharing housing with other families or groups.

Forestview Cabin FloorplanForestview Cabins (FOR): Located near the lake, there are 10 air-conditioned cabins available, 2 cabins in each of 5 buildings. Cabins will be reserved as "half cabins". Each half cabin (4 per building) has a bedroom with one full and two bunk beds (top and bottom) and a designated bathroom with shower. The half cabins share a common living area with sofa, table and chairs, small refrigerator and stone fireplace. Each cabin has two roll-aways, a crib and a screened wraparound porch. Pending registration consistent with expectations, the cabins will be used for the junior and senior high programs, their counselors, and limited availability for another group that will share their living area with the MUUSA nursery program during the day.

On-Site Tent Camping (ON): On-site camping is available to all attendees, but campers must provide their own tents. Camping is located in North Valley and bathroom facilities will be shared with those staying in North Hall. The designated area is a flat, grassy clearing surrounded by trees. A campfire circle is located in the valley for usage as agreed upon by those staying in the area.

Off-Site Camping (OFF): Camping is also available at a Boy Scout Camp located on the other end of Sunnen Lake. Transportation by car requires going out to the highway and coming back in, resulting in a 10-15 minute commute by vehicle. On foot, the walk would be approximately 30 minutes. Rustic dorms with a large open space lined with bunk beds offer minimal amenities, but do have attached rest rooms. Shelters furnished with four cots each are also available for those seeking both value and a traditional Boy Scout experience. Shared rest rooms and showers are functional but meager. Tent camping is also an option, but campers must bring their own tents. The cabins and shelters are situated amongst open fields and have several picnic shelters and campfire circles.

North Hall (NTH): A 36' x 30' airconditioned meeting room will be made available as a housing option for campers who are seeking a low-priced alternative but prefer not to sleep outdoors. The facility has women's and men's rest rooms with showers, however sleeping quarters are open. The space will be used during the day as a common area for the Young Adult program. Roll-away beds, linens and towels will be provided. This is one large room plus bathing facilities. Pending registration consistent with expectations, this space will be used by the young adults (ages 18-35).

Super 8 Motel (S8): Reservations have been made at the Super 8 located at 820 E. High Street in Potosi, approximately 10 miles from Trout Lodge. 10 rooms with two queen beds and 10 rooms with one king bed are reserved under the group MUUSA. Campers wishing to stay at the Super 8, should call the motel directly at 573-438-8888 and reference MUUSA to get the daily, discounted rate of $54.79 + taxes for a two queen bed room and $51.19 + tax for a king room.
