Program Information

There's something for everyone at MUUSA. From workshops for adults through structured programs for children, you're sure to find something fun during your special week at MUUSA. Youth programs are based on the school grade that the camper will be entering in the Fall 2008.

Cratty Children's Program
Infants through Entering Grade 6
Our attentive, caring nursery staff will provide a safe environment for our infants. Preschoolers will enjoy crafts and a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities. For children in first through sixth grades, our experienced MUUSA staff will team up with YMCA staff to facilitate team-building games, arts & crafts, outdoor activities, horseback riding, cave exploration, swimming, hiking, boating, religious education and much more. To fully leverage the diverse and exciting activities provided by Trout Lodge, we will not be offering elective workshops this year. For more information, please contact Kari Debbink or Pamela Hermann

Meyer Junior High
Entering Grades 7, 8, or 9
Junior High youth are housed separately from adults in their own area with their own terrific, enthusiastic, and experienced staff. Parents with more questions can speak directly to: Jenny Dunmore. Please note: campers without a parent at camp must designate an adult sponsor on the registration form. See the policy here.

Burt Senior High
Entering Grades 10, 11, or 12
Senior highers live together with the help of a caring, earnest, dedicated staff. We build a community that fosters personal growth and leadership skills through group building, sharing, as well as physical and spiritual activities. Burt is a place where life-long friendships are formed. For more information, please contact: Rachel Frothingham. Please note: campers without a parent at camp must designate an adult sponsor on the registration form. See the policy here.

Young Adults (YAs)
Post High School though Age 35
If you're out of high school and consider yourself a young adult, please join us. In addition to being a member of camp at large, YAs share activities emphasizing community, education, leadership, social action, spirituality, and personal growth. If you're interested in the YA program, please contact: Laurel Hermann or Chris Cable.

Adults
Post High School and up
Adults enjoy a variety of worship, workshop and recreational activities. Together we take over 60 years of tradition and add the spirit of our campers to build a community. For more information, please contact: James McDonough.

Baby-sitting Co-op
Parents and guardians housed with their children may sign up to participate in a cooperative baby sitting arrangement to share childcare during evening hours. To register, check the Babysitting Co-op box in the "Volunteer to Help" section of the registration form. The volunteer parents will be responsible for rules, procedures and scheduling. We'll distribute a list of interested parents before camp to ease communication and organization.
