Midwest Unitarian Universalist Summer Assembly

An annual intergenerational Unitarian Universalist retreat for fun, fellowship, and personal growth

In the interim, Wednesday, July 3rd through Sunday, July 7th 2024

Meeting this year in Bloomington, Indiana

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Bloomington welcomes all MUUSAns to Bloomington July 3-7. The APC is still working on the programming, but we have made arrangements for very affordable housing and meals through the Indiana University dorms — and the dorm we will be in is 0.6 miles from the church! There will also be hotel options in many price ranges in addition to the dorms.

Meyer (junior high), Burt (high school), and Young Adults (YA) will have dedicated space in the dorms for programming. Most adult programs and Morning Celebrations will be at the church.

Plenty of hotels in all price ranges are also nearby.

Rev. Misha Sanders will be our theme speaker!

Wednesday July 3rd through Sunday July 7th, 2024. Hope to see you there!

Registration is now closed for 2024. Final payments can be made in person on opening day.

Couples and singles, with and without children, can enjoy a variety of workshop and recreational activities while children are in programs with others near their own age, building friendships that will last well beyond the week of camp.

Morning Celebrations

Each morning, Rev. Misha Sanders will lead a multi-generational service on the theme topic. Services include children's stories and choral music from the Awesome Choir, led by Pam Blevins Hinkle and accompanied by Bonnie Ettinger.

Scholarship Opportunities

If finances are tight and MUUSA doesn't quite fit into your budget this year, we hope you will apply for a scholarship. These funds strengthen our community and we want to be sure you know they are available.
