Adult Programs
...a full week of camp life with programming, prepared meals, and a whole bunch of like-minded folks.
MUUSA is a place for spiritual reflection, intellectual growth, and creative play within a caring and supportive community. Many MUUSA attendees have been coming to MUUSA for 30 years or more.
Adults can enjoy a long list of workshops and excursions. Consider joining an Improv acting workshop! Never sung in a choir? Now's your chance! How about a guided hike through a newly restored prairie? Or just a hand-dipped ice cream cone on a historic Ripon street.
All inclusive registration fees include housing, meals, workshops and other activities. Additional fees may be required for some workshops and excursions.
A typical day at MUUSA
An inspirational morning “celebration” starts each day, often based on a week long theme chosen by the “theme speaker.” A bit like a rousing church service, the morning celebration starts the day with the Awesome Choir, congregational sing-alongs, reflection and fellowship.
The day continues based on every camper’s own preferences. Some choose to plan their own day of hiking, relaxing, reading a book or completing a puzzle. Others fill their days with workshops, creative activities and excursions.
Previous workshops have included everything from Awesome Choir and bird banding, to Tai Chi, Improv and cocktail making. There is never a shortage of “something to do.”
Evenings often include multigenerational activities such a social hour, a nightly open-mic "Coffeehouse," games, athletic pursuits and spiritual meetings.
